continuation of Trans Neptunian objects....

What are TNO?  They are any objects in the Solar System that orbit the Sun at a greater average distance than Neptune!  Unknowingly then, Pluto was the first TNO to be discovered by Claude Tombaugh in 1930, mistakenly considered and classified as the ninth planet, the planet x they were searching.  It's status remained unchallenged until 1992, when the second trans- neptunian object QB1, was discovered, orbiting the sun directly.  It yielded in a systematic search of other objects beyond Neptune.
